Beautiful intense crimson colour, with a purple rim. The nose initially presents aromas of fresh fruits (blackcurrant, plum, cherry), associated to a slight empyreumatic note that is kind of woody and well-integrated (cedar, vanilla, cacao). There are also hints of spice (clove). The attack, full and round, is followed by a strong palate with dense tannins. The tight tannic structure and natural acidity impart an interesting vivacity and freshness to this wine, leading to a good aftertaste with fruit.
