This sake brewed with the very well-suited and popular sake rice "Gohyakumangoku" during winter. Aged in the brewery's celler, and launching this Autumn. Creates an unique "Hiyaoroshi" for Eiko Fuji.

"Hiyaoroshi" 冷卸し is a type of Autumn sake made with newly harvested sake rice in spring, aged over summer, and bottled unpasteurized to give it a fresh and lively taste, unlike twice-pasteurized sakes.
Kato Kiyomasa was a Japanese daimyo (powerful Japanese feudal lords) of the Azuchi-Momoyama and Edo Periods. From 1601 to 1607, Kiyomasa greatly expanded the castle, transforming it into a complex castle. The Kumamoto Castle was damaged due to the earthquakes in 2016. As descendant of Kato Kiyomasa, owner of Eiko Fuji donates part of revenue of Kumataro for reconstruction support. Kumataro is a very aromatic sake with fresh and fruity pear, apple, pineapple, lychee nose. Off-dry palate with delicate, refreshing acidity and fizzy flavor. Silky bodied with medium finished.
