Marqués de Riscal

Marqués de Riscal, an esteemed Spanish wine brand, has a rich history dating back over 160 years. Located in Elciego (Álava), which is one of the oldest wineries in Rioja, it was founded by D. Guillermo Hurtado de Amézaga in 1858. Setting itself apart from tradition, Marqués de Riscal adopted innovative techniques, such as aging its wines in Bordeaux-style oak barrels, resulting in exceptional quality and aging potential. Marqués de Riscal has won numerous awards in both national and international competitions. In 2023, for the third consecutive year, Marqués de Riscal is proudly recognized as one of the top ten best vineyards in the world.
