E. Guigal Côte-Rôtie Château d’Ampuis 2019 is a powerful yet polished northern Rhône red, showing intense dark berry and red fruit layered with olive tapenade, spice, smoke and floral notes, framed by substantial but refined tannins and long length. Built from seven top Côte Blonde and Côte Brune sites and aged extensively in new oak, it combines muscular structure, marked but integrated wood and vibrant minerality, and is best after several years of cellaring to reach full complexity.
